KIRKUS REVIEW

Growing weary of her small size and of her nickname, 7 year old Wee Bridget suddenly gets a chance to prove how capable she can be when her parents must leave her to watch the farm while they spend a day in town. With the new recognition, Wee Bridget finds just as suddenly that she doesn't mind her nickname any more. Irish dialogue and countryside are comfortably dressed with the placid, rounded Bromhall pictures in blue, orange and green. Firm spine.
