KIRKUS REVIEW

This book discusses the real meaning of Easter and points out that Easter, rather than Christmas, is the real birthday of our Faith. It was not the good news of a holy birth but the good news of a holy resurrection that the first missionaries preached. Easter commemorates not the birth of a baby, but the victory of a man. In each of the eight chapters, the author deals with some aspect of the Easter theme, and she believes that by rediscovering the real meaning of Easter, it should be possible for us to overcome the madness and defeatism of the present day.
