KIRKUS REVIEW

A fanciful story with a good deal of charm. Dennis a cop and small Tillie the schoolgirl were much concerned because Spring had passed over their own bit of a park. So they consulted the milk wagon horse, the flower wagon horse, the gulls and the pigeons and the statue of the man for whom the park was named-and finally set the ball rolling which didn't bring Spring back but rushed the park into Summer.
