MAN AMONG THE STARS

Reconciling the frightening prospect of exploring the universe with the conventions of scientific advance, author Muller establishes space travel in its historical setting of astronomical belief. In prescribing the orbit of the terrcatrial citizen of today and his approaching role as an interplanetary citizen, he estimates blandly the possibilities that other planets may contain life similar to our own and leaves an almost unassailable impression that space travel is purely a physical departure from the right little, tight little customs of the world.
