KIRKUS REVIEW

I hold no brief for this. In an attempt to make the information worldwide in scope, the book seems to lack focus. No collection of a few over a hundred birds could be definite enough to be of much real value. This is well done so far as it goes, good photographs and opposite each page a descriptive text. The birds are divided into types, such as wading birds, birds of prey, game birds, etc, A book that would need supplementary data to be fully successful.
