KIRKUS REVIEW

For the fan, this fits at any age, so is put in this group only for convenience. A train enthusiast who couldn't read it for himself would listen spellbound at five; another at thirteen would find the text full of sound historical and anecdotal material about famous trains. The Flying Scotsman, the Orient Express, the Golden Arrow, the Twentieth Century -- these and others take the reader to many parts of the world.
