POTTERY MAKING: A Photographic Handbook

The attempt is made in this book to show how pottery can be built into a practical hobby with no working capital. How local clays can be used: how a kiln can be home made, how even a potter's wheel can be constructed. Along with this aspect of the book goes a running description of successive processes, with or without a wheel, of how to model, to glass to fire: and of more elaborate and advanced procedure. I've seen only the text, but there are to be 45 photographs and many working drawings, by Larry Morris, Jr. A good book for craft shops, clubs, camps.
