MAJESTY'S RANCHO

Popular-western-romance-adventure in a somewhat different tradition from that associated with Zane Grey. (Yes, here is another posthumous novel.) A Western in modern dress, cattle rustling new style, with trucks instead of rawhide whips; and present day problem children as central figures, -- Madge (daughter of Gene, El Capitan, and Madeleine, of Light of Western Stars) and Lance Sidway, cowboy hired by Madge's father, and as headstrong as Madge. Lance's job is to rehabilitate the ranch; Madge's seems to be to keep it going downhill. Rent as a Western to those who still want Zane Gray in that category; but as rental romance with Western setting, elsewhere.
