Time Magazine called Amy Chua’s new book, Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother, the “Mommie Dearest for the age of the memoir.” The New York Post says that her observations about parenting in mainstream America are “dead-on.”  Whether you’re outraged or inspired, one thing is clear: Chua’s book has caused a lot of claws to come out.  And it appears that the proverbial catfights are far from over.

Here at Kirkus Reviews, we take books seriously (how else could we have been around since the 1930’s?) But we also know the power of a good laugh when it might help to lighten things up a little. So while opinions are flying and pundits are sounding off, we thought we’d have a little fun. In our new contest we’re asking you to suggest a title for the sequel to Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother. It can reflect your indignation, your support, your indifference, or your amusement. The main thing is to be creative!
