Now that 2015 has hit, I’ve realized that I have to wait a least another year for my next Susan Elizabeth Phillips fix, and Molly O’Keefe doesn’t have anything posted yet as coming out this year. Where to turn for my contemporary romance fix?

I discovered Kieran Kramer late last year, and her recent release, You’re So Fine, is both sweet and sexy. Southern charm, Hollywood glamour and a quirky cast of secondary cAngel in Armaniharacters make the book a heartwarming winner. When single mom Lacey and her son have nowhere to go and have to share a lighthouse with movie star Beau, she is determined to keep his hands off her, but she doesn’t expect to feel tempted to risk her heart.

Christie Ridgway’s Make Me Lose Control is another fun, sexy read that also manages to be thought-provoking, especially regarding family and love. Shay Walker and Jace Jennings think they’re entering into a no-strings-attached one-night stand, until they discover she’s his teen daughter’s live-in tutor. When he moves in, too, things get complicated.

I have mentioned Melanie Scott before, and I enjoyed her rich doctor/struggling helicopter pilot romance, Angel in Armani, the follow-up to Devil in Denim. Love those sexy baseball owners!

GIrls Mischief BayJulia London’s next Homecoming Ranch novel, The Perfect Homecoming, comes out next month and includes a kleptomaniac heroine and a heart-wrenching secondary story arc. Definitely worth reading!

And Susan Mallery is starting a new women’s fiction series with The Girls of Mischief Bay. It's not pure romance, but there's enough in there to keep me engaged and satisfied while Mallery poignantly explores three friendships that have to navigate unexpected life changes. (Releases next month.)
