Talk show host Jimmy Fallon and pop star/actor Jennifer Lopez will teach kids to speak Spanish with a new children’s book, People magazine reports.

The friends are collaborating on Con Pollo: A Bilingual Playtime Adventure, which Feiwel & Friends will publish this fall (este otoño). The publisher describes the book as “an engaging and hilarious picture book that serves young readers as an introduction to basic Spanish vocabulary.”

The book, illustrated by Andrea Campos, introduces kids to “Pollo, a friendly little chicken who just wants to play. And play, and play, and play all day!”

Fallon has written several children’s books before, including Your Baby’s First Word Will Be Dada and Everything Is Mama. His Nana Loves You More will be published later this month. Lopez is the author of a photographic diary, True Love, which came out in 2014.

Fallon shared news of his collaboration with Lopez on Instagram, writing, “@jlo and I have always wanted to do something together and one of the many things I love about her is how great of a mom she is. Since we’re both parents, we thought a children’s book would be the perfect fit! It’s fun and educational and my Spanish teachers from high school would be so impressed to know that I’m teaching kids to speak Spanish with Jennifer Lopez!!”

Con Pollo is scheduled for publication el 11 de octubre de 2022.
