In a book due out next year, Arnold Schwarzenegger will share his advice on how to achieve a successful life, People magazine reports.

Penguin Press will publish the actor and politician’s Better Every Day: An Action Plan for a Full Life in the winter. The press calls the book “a candid and practical set of lessons for building a flywheel for endless growth and deepening purpose.”

Schwarzenegger first rose to fame as the star of the 1977 bodybuilding documentary Pumping Iron, becoming an actor shortly thereafter. He starred in films including Conan the Barbarian, The Terminator, and Commando, and emerged as one of Hollywood’s most bankable stars, scoring box-office hits with Twins, Total Recall, and Kindergarten Cop. In 2003, he was elected governor of California in a special election, and reelected in 2006.

His previous books include an autobiography, Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story, co-written with Peter Petre, and Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life.

In Better Every Day, Penguin Press says, Schwarzenegger “shares what he’s learned about the path of continual improvement. It starts with simply beginning—the small steps that lead to momentum, the foundation for everything that follows.”

Schwarzenegger shared news of the book on the social platform X, writing, “I’m at the stage of my life where I want to share everything that’s helped me with as many people as possible. Better Every Day isn’t a fitness book or a workout program. It’s a program for life, laid out one week at a time, so you can build the armor that allows you to live fully.”

Better Every Day is scheduled for publication on Jan. 12, 2027.
