MAMA LOVE by Kathy Mallat
CHILDREN'S
Released: March 1, 2004

"Little chimps of the human variety will willingly crawl into a parental lap to share this visual and verbal hug. (Picture book. 2-4)"

HILLARY TO THE RESCUE by Kathy Caple
ANIMALS

BOOK REVIEW

FOX AND BEAR by Kathy Caple
ANIMALS
Released: April 1, 1992

"(Easy reader. 4-8)"
Four mildly amusing episodes in the life of two friends: each in turn gets annoyed with the other for a well-intentioned trick; they pack so much stuff for camping that the only sensible thing to do is stay home and have a picnic; etc. Nothing extraordinary, but Caple's amiable text and her gentle, cartoon- style illustrations in varied frames make this a good choice where more easy readers are needed.
