Do we have to have them -- these variations on the comic strip and the modern hair raisers? This strikes me as pretty cheap melodrama (unless viewed with an adult eye as satire on melodrama), in a story, chiefly in pictures, of Calico who had a nose like a bloodhound and ideas about what to do -- and the chase after the bandit. Variegated paper and comic technique -- with a sophisticated twist, in the pictures. Written to young moderns order.
