A book that pokes fun at its own overfamiliar theme-- dinosaurs turning up in the present--and then goes on to exploit it with energy and imagination. Andrew can't find a chalk pit, but he does know a wizard whose spell (a pleasing litany of dinosaur names) literally produces a rain of the giant creatures. The events that follow may be predictable, but they're sure to please young enthusiasts--as will Kelley's lively, if undistinguished, illustrations. (Picture book. 4-8)
