by Colleen Nelson ; Read by Stacy Gonzalez ‧ RELEASE DATE: Jan. 22, 2021
Stacy Gonzalez narrates an inventive paranormal story about a teenage foster child. Frankie's past is a mystery. When she begins having dreams about a 1920s carnival and its performers, she is shocked to find that their lives are intertwined with hers and that most of them are still alive. Gonzalez deftly portrays the characters, seamlessly moving between a variety of accents and personalities; however, her sibilance can distract the listener. Nonetheless, her performance of Frankie embodies the teen and captures the wide range of emotions she experiences throughout the story. Overall, a serviceable production.

by Marissa Meyer ; Read by Rebecca Soler ‧ RELEASE DATE: Nov. 4, 2025
Rebecca Soler makes action scenes impossible to pause as she narrates this romantic Bluebeard retelling. Mallory descends from witches, but her only magic is the ability to see ghosts. To earn a living she and her sister sell fake spells and artifacts and give tours of the mansion that once belonged to Count Bastien Saphir, who many believe murdered three wives. When Bastien's great-great-grandson, handsome Armand, offers a reward to rid his home of the murderous ghost of his ancestor, Mallory doesn't hesitate. When a new murder takes place, she investigates whether the murderer is truly the ghost of Bastien or someone who is part of the household. Soler's precise diction and intensifying pace ramp up the suspense in this story inspired by French folklore.

by Guadalupe García McCall ; Read by Kyla Garcia ‧ RELEASE DATE: Nov. 4, 2025
In this YA fantasy audiobook, 15-year-old twins Delia and Velia must rescue their father from a vengeful spirit driven by his desire for power. They must also decide if their destiny is to battle monsters in service to the Aztec gods. Narrator Kyla Garcia expertly handles both quests, as well as the many Mexican beings from folklore. Garcia's pace is breakneck, but listeners can still follow the twins' choices and decisions. The family dynamic involves a new stepfather--someone they're not yet ready to trust. Nonetheless, the twins demonstrate courage as they face both supernatural and family trials. Teens who enjoy fantasy will find much to enjoy in this first installment of the Seasons of Sisterhood trilogy.
