Two stories are intertwined in this tale of the near future. One takes place in the early 1960s in the United States, the other in the early twenty-first century in Great Britain. The link is an attempt by the later group to send tachyonic messages into the past to warn against triggering certain environmental disasters. Recorded Books uses an American voice (Bradbury) for the American side and a British one (Prebble) for the British. It works marvelously well, and, because both men are excellent readers, the listener has no trouble distinguishing characters. The science is very good, too.
