by Laura Dave ; Read by Joy Osmanski ‧ RELEASE DATE: June 2, 2015
Who knew it takes 800 grapes to make one bottle of wine? That and many other fascinating, arcane facts fill this romantic peek behind the scenes of a Sonoma, California, vineyard and the offbeat members of the family that owns it. Narrator Joy Osmanski's feisty delivery is just right for Georgia, the 30-year-old lawyer who discovers that her too-good-to-be-true fiancé is too good to be true. When a terrible secret emerges just weeks before her wedding to Ben, Georgia runs home to the vineyard only to discover more secrets lurking behind every grapevine. Her parents' marriage is in trouble, her twin brothers are feuding over a woman, and her father is planning to sell the vineyard. Whether recounting flashbacks or dealing with present-day crises, Osmanski's performance is winning.

by Gerald A. Browne ; Read by Barry Bostwick ‧ RELEASE DATE: Jan. 22, 1993
This is not a story about guns, but about blue pearls. Gerald Browne takes us to the Pacific Ocean and the world of pearl divers and natural gems and mixes in mystery, intrigue and suspense. Barry Bostwick portrays the characters in one voice, varying his intonation slightly for the Asian personalities. His reading style is very smooth, evidence of preparation and interest in the story. 18mm Blues is abridged well, collecting the important elements of the story. Unobtrusive music indicates the end of each side. Disappear into the mystery of the Far East and one of its most beautiful commodities.
