The story of the ministry of Christ is told in an affecting and direct style that is both compelling and believable. Narrator Jason Culp portrays a scholarly, sensitive Judas whose view of Jesus is colored by his patriotic dreams. In addition, Culp makes us hear the love and devotion Judas feels for Jesus. His voice for Jesus is warm, strong, and unaffected. We also hear the passionate voices of those seeking miracles and hope and, conversely, the cold, censorial voices of the temple officials.
