Ashton Stewart
James A. Stewart was born in Baton Rouge, LA. After graduating from Louisiana State University with a BS in Industrial Technology, he served for twenty-five years on active duty with the U.S. Navy, a career that took him around the world and culminated in a tour as Commanding Officer of USS Mount Vernon (LSD-39). He also holds a BA in English from National University (summa cum laude) and an MFA in Creative Writing from the UC Riverside Palm Desert Low-Residency MFA program. He lives with his family in San Diego, CA. This is his first book.
