FC Ribeiro is an Emmy-winning creative director and writer whose advertising career spanned three decades at world-class agencies. His years as an ad man has translated into a taut, insistent writing style punctuated by authentic, witty dialogue and deep conceptual twists. In 2020, he moved back to his home town in California's San Joaquin Valley to begin writing fiction. His first novel The Wait was published in 2026. In addition to advertising, he's been a rancher, deck hand, mill worker, sommelier, and grocery clerk...among many others. His ad work for Apple, Nissan, Dr Pepper and many others has been recognized by the One Show, Clios, and the Cannes Lions. When not writing, he spends his time with his wife Michelle and their family. A devout Catholic, he is a lector and catechist and volunteers his time to local Catholic charities.
“This brief book’s tight construction, humane curiosity, and willingness to let faith arrive through friction rather than platitudes give it real bite and a surprising measure of joy.”
