by Abigail Pizer ‧ RELEASE DATE: Aug. 1, 1990
A tame rabbit's adventures after he escapes on a snowy day are complicated by the long ears that trip him and that also mark him as different from the wild rabbits with whom he raids the farmer's feed. He soon tires of adventures and returns to his hutch. The text of this modern parallel to Peter Rabbit's more exciting exploits is unexceptional, but Pizer's illustrations are clean, well designed, and appealing.
