by Adet Lia ‧ RELEASE DATE: April 26, 1961
Chinese folk tales with their soft moral wisdoms and clever allegorical teachings are always welcome. Adet Lin retells some dozen or so, some of which may be more familiar like The and others which will be brand new to most readers. The My Way is apparently a favorite, explaining in lyrical story form the origin of some of its stars. Enrico Arno's graceful black and white illustrations throughout help transport us into the fantasy setting. Could be judiciously used in storyhour.
