GOOD LUCK MARY ANN!

A glorious sun-filled, sea-soaked week on Cape Cod for a ten-year-old girl is the slight but tasty substance of this holiday book. Mary Ann wanted so much to spend the summer with wonderful Aunt Sophia in her cottage at Long Nook on the Cape, but Aunt Sophia had told her that the first week would be a ""trial"" week. In the busy round of chores which Aunt Sophia made fun, playing with neighboring twin boys, picnics, Sunday school, digging in the sand, and exploring Mary Ann never forgets she is ""on trial"". But in spite of a sad accident with a precious teacup, the trial is a success, as Aunt Sophia seemed to know all along. The lovely place, the long days on the Cape will be as much fun for the reader as they are to Mary Ann.
