THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING

A commercially stylish, stinging re-run of the Democratic National Convention of 1968 from bonfires to bullhorns to bombs with all those sound effects -- Allen Ginsberg's Ommmming and youngsters chanting ""One, two, three, four, Stop this goddamned lousy war."" Al Morgan who was the Today show's producer appears now on the Now show as Gary Sutton, producer, and those that want to can but needn't dub in the other names. Many of them need no aliases since this is primarily straight-up documentary of that disgraceful moment in history when the whole world was watching and some people were determined to see that it couldn't. This is the kind of thing Morgan does best -- remember The Great Man (Godfrey) -- and it's all still live on. . . .
