SCAVENGERS IN SPACE

The threat of over-population is one which has alarmed even the most ardent realists. In this fantasy, projected many years into the future, earth, having become overpopulated, has already expanded to other planets. And it is on Mars, a base from which man conducts his interplanetary mining expeditions, that earth's hope for expansion are nearly defeated. Into the battle for living-space come Greg and Tom, the twin sons of a famous scientist-prospector, who rescue their father's discovery of a vehicle to the stars from the hands of unscrupulous opportunists. A well conceived, if rather bleakly mechanical, universe is provided here for those who like their who-dun-its colored by astral rays and reflections from outer space.
