by Alexander Kerensky ‧ RELEASE DATE: March 8, 1934
An account of the last years of the Czar's reign in Russia, the spirit and politics which led up to the events in Russian history with which everyone is familiar, more than a chronological account of the events themselves. Opposed to both Lenin and Trotsky, whom he accuses of destroying liberty in Russia. Everyone will feel the depths of sincerity of the writer, and his amazing detachment and freedom from bitterness. At the close, he sums up the European situation and the swing to Fascism. A tremendously interesting book, and an antidote to the flood of pro-Soviet material.
