Two energetic country mice set out to visit a town mouse; after a short stay, they return eagerly to their cozy home. The author has not interjected any new spark into this tired old theme. The merit of the book is in the illustrations which are rendered in a soft old-fashioned style, some in color, most in black and white. The result-- just another mouse story with pleasing pictures.
