THAT REVOLUTIONARY---CHRIST

With a characteristic sense of urgency, Dr. Allan Knight Chalmers presses his claim that the Christian life is adventurous, dangerous, compelling and revolutionary, because Jesus himself lived that way. Complacent resignation to the status quo or a timid embrace of gradualism find no place in the life of any man who seeks to follow the revolutionary--Christ. This is definitely not a book for those who wish their worship to be quiet and undisturbed, but for those who believe that the single life, invested courageously in the battle against wrong, counts for something in this world. The book abounds with illustrations from literature, as well as contemporary life and is an uneasy delight to read.
