Allan (""Hello Mudduh, Hello Fadduh"") Sherman in this giant pot-prurient of sex and socioreligio-anthropological commentary, leaves plenty of space for ""making funny,"" particularly in his rolling documentary of the Sex Revolution. It all started, he says, on November 10, 1945, with 16 year-old Sonny Wisecarver who combined babysitting with upstairs action (""He's more of a man than most men,"" breathed Mrs. E.L.). From then on to the present -- the ""Obscening of America"" witnessed the overthrow of the A.P.E. (the American Puritan Ethic) which produced liars, hypocrites, white bread, nudity, no-no's and the Ultimate Judeo-Christian Toilet. Complementing the honor roll of APE-rapers is a lengthy morality saga which features those hapless original Eden-Res, Sap (Homo, that is) and his mate Lala. This luxuriant scroll is dotted with parables, pensees and various pudenda-addenda, engraved on toilet walls and the heart of America. Don't think too much about this -- just chug-a-lug and it's a blast.
