Johnny Diamond, twenty years old, comes to avenge a six years' old massacre of his family, in tracing the evil doers to the Picketwire River in Colorado in the late '80's. With the clue of a stolen pair of boots, and the descendants of an old Morgan mare, Johnny wins the friendship and belief of the sheriff, offers himself as human bait in a trap for the remainder of the gang, and, in spawning trouble, spikes cupid. A youthful bounce here for quite a bit of misplaced energy.
