THE MARKED MEN

Elston's Westerns crowd fast on each other's talks -- this the second in '56 is again a Wyoming yarn- and again a battle to the death between the big cattlemen and the small ranchers. The struggle is intensified in this tale by the romance between Lydia, whose sympathy was with the small fry, and Terry, who had inherited his big cattle ranch, and who tried to steer a middle path. The feud builds up to high tension as a list of proposed victims is bruited about, and rumor has it that the cattlemen are on the march. Plenty of blood is spilled before right wins over might- and Lydia finds her true love in a new rancher.
