THINK OF A NUMBER

How about 200,000 kroner? Give or take a few and about to be appropriated by a young man in a Santa Claus outfit when Borck, the cashier in the bank, feels he's more entitled to them, hides them in a safe deposit box, only he loses the key and doesn't know quite what to do until a pretty girl deliberately strays into his life. . . . A splendidly understated first novel (it will be a film) with the latent excitement of Rififi. Can you think of a better opposite number?
