by Anne Rockwell ‧ RELEASE DATE: April 1, 1986
A picture book about big-wheeled construction equipment and other such machines. Rockwell's bright, bold drawings of tractors, bulldozers and trucks, driven here by anthropomorphic pigs, will delight the very young, and please the slightly older who like to have the correct name for things like clamshell cranes, etc. The minimal text describes the way the vehicles work: ""Front loaders lift dirt. Bulldozers push it."" In primary colors and simplified, outliner renderings, a fine addition to Rockwell's works.
