STORY PARADE GOLD BOOK

These annuals have made a definite and lasting place for themselves, and this new collection lives up to the standard of its predecessors, with somewhat more orthodox focusing on this particular age span. There is a small amount of factual material, some verse, one puppet play and one legend in dramatic form. But for the most part the collection consists of stories, folk material, animal stories, stories of dden times, historical fiction, adventure, humor, stories of modern boys and girls, fantasy and realism. The majority have American backgrounds.
