FIGHTERS OF THE SKY

Ten adventure stories of fighter pilots in World Wars I and II and in Korea by an author who specializes in airplane stories for the pulps and slick magazines. Five of the stories deal with the English, five with Americans in a predictable but exciting pattern of action, human interest and simplified technology. Of the group, the three dealing with World War I are perhaps the most interesting because of the hand-to-hand highly personal nature of the fighting in those days. For airplane buffs and those readers who as boys thrilled over the old-time airplane adventure accounts.
