Continuing interpretation of the Mormon way of life, Up Home examines more of the psychology of plural marriage in its account of a family who found themselves outside the law after the abolishment of polygamy. Then when local regulations permitted the recognition of those already polygamous, there is the story of Olaf and Linnea- whom he loved- and of Sigrid- to whom Olaf must go on alternate nights. Episodic as it is, this has warmth, humor and understanding.
