STRANGERS IN AFRICA

A slight object lesson in race relations tells of Paul Hunter and Wes Carson, a Negro and a white boy, who come to Africa as entomologists (and indirectly counteract some of the headlines about discrimination in America). In the Nigerian bush, they handle another kind of prejudice, native superstition, and through a ruse manage to spray the sacred grove where many tsetse files, the disease-carriers they fight, are breeding. Wes' romance with Kathy, girl anthropologist, does not contribute. All in all, medium- more towards mediocre.
