by Arthur Lyons ‧ RELEASE DATE: Dec. 15, 1976
Jake Asch is one of the newer California-styled private eyes who doesn't need a hat or a trench coat--he's got some of the best-timed dialogue around to keep things moving when a meat packer, who's gambled himself and his company into the hands of the Syndicate, is found stiffed and stuffed in the trunk of his car. But there's more to it than that since it turns out to be family, lower case, business. Lyons is sharp and entertaining and plays a rough game of tag--enjoy it.
