GO-BETWEEN

Much less subdued than Decoy, this is a hypermotor action story about an ex-pro golfer who lost his wife as well as the use of a hand in an accident and now serves as the intermediary between an absentee, rich father and the son who turned up to blackmail him. And is killed. This keeps about three things going concurrently (the blackmail and murders; a very big business deal; a love story and you're sorry to see her go) and you'll read it with unremitting if not absorbed attention.
