THE SNOWMAN

Maling always tells a vigorously effective story and this one's about Chester Novak who abandons, and almost loses, his own youngster in an attempt to retrieve the grown son of his benefactor-employer. friend who has drifted into a drug circuit down Mexico way. He brings him back across the border along with his girl and two suitcases of cocaine only to have them take another kind of powder on him. The plot thickens from page to page and it's all strenuously exciting.
