MISS SUSIE SLAGLE'S

Sentimental period piece of the pre-war years, characters and traditions. Johns Hopkins and Baltimore as the setting. The story of a famous boarding house, of the owner, Miss Susie Slagle, whose boys never fail, of the ups and downs at medical school, of medical history and information, and all in a harold-bell-wrightish atmosphere of the good and pure. There are good spots, but the whole is long and dated, and will appeal primarily to ultra-conservatives.
