by Barbara Rinkoff ‧ RELEASE DATE: Feb. 17, 1967
A real find for harassed parents frantic to find a substitute for old standards such as Pin the Tail on you know what. Twenty-four countries contribute...games, recipes, gift ideas, decorations, favors, songs, etc. And the hostess will probably have the ""mostess"" fun whether making German candles or supervising a Philippine Potato Joust or whipping up a batch of Icelandic Ponnukokur (pancakes). Everything is carefully explained and Mrs. Rinkoff even has a sense of humor...nothing which particular project ""always causes the giggles."" It includes a game directory, a mail order shipping directory, a listing of gourmet shops for specialty items and even teaches you how to say ""Happy Birthday"" in each language. This should work well for unbirthday parties too.
