by Barrett Willoughby ‧ RELEASE DATE: Aug. 2, 1935
Good adventure -- good romance -- an old-fashioned theme, but convincingly told and with enough new twists to make it first rate entertainment, even if the suspense as to the ultimate wind-up is not a vital factor. He knows his background, does Barrett Willoughby a Canadian post, up the river Stikine, where rich sportsmen congregate for their outfitting before going into the hunting country, and an all-pervading sense of the pull of the wild, of the power of the river, of the deep silences of the north. I liked it.
