by Bernard B. Rois ‧ RELEASE DATE: March 25, 1937
A scandal sheet of the investment industry. One type of investment after another put under the microscope, investigations and findings revealed, and throughout an expose of the inadequacy of so-called protection, of the impossibility of the investor not on the inside, having access to the facts and the crying need of greater control, preferably in the hands of an investors' organization which should investigate new issues, further adequate legislation and represent security holders. Among the fields of investment discussed come guaranteed mortgages, investment trusts, foreign bonds, and so on. Skirts edge of libel at times -- certainly controversial.
