LITTLE JOHN BEAR IN THE BIG CITY

Because his own coat is too badly worn to be seen at cousin Mark's wedding, Little John Bear decides to borrow the fur coat of his human friend Herman (of Not This Bear, 1968). This occasions a visit to the city, where Little John rides underground in a huge monster (the D train) and is accidentally lifted up on a construction workers' scaffold. Eventually he gets the coat in time for the wedding; but though it covers his patches, there's no disguising Myers' stale situations. The barest Herman story yet.
