Country cousin is Mindy Hubbard, probably not even once removed from any girl anywhere who would find a summer job--in a dress shop--""heavenly"". And the Country Cousin, which sells to the girls of Bryn Mawr and Shipley and Baldwin (Villagers and Ann Fogartys) is where Mindy is lucky enough to get a job. She finds she needs to take off a little weight in order to look more fashion fit; she makes a few mistakes in learning about the business; but before it's over there's a trip to Paris (where the Country Cousin is going to sell some of their things) along with a soupen of French learned on every page....Not a problem in sight; just girl talk, frosted pink for popular perfection.
