THE TIGER IN THE TEAPOT

How to get the tiger out of the teapot when it's time for afternoon tea? Mama asks him; Big Sister Susie insists; Great Aunt Josephina scolds; the Twins, the Three Middle Boys and Papa threaten. . . but the tiger won't budge until Littlest Sister Josie comes home with a way out: she invites him to sit down at the table. Even after children know the answer they'll laugh at the tiger's effrontery and everybody's exasperation as drawn by a past master of the ridiculous.
