by Brian Earnshaw ‧ RELEASE DATE: Oct. 27, 1975
Another interplanetary puffball in which the crew of Dragonfall 5 land on a forest world where helium-balloon flowers abound and learns that the Moloks, who look like koala bears and pilot giant airships, are not the villains their neighbors make them out to be. . . but evangelical vegetarians determined to liberate the geese that the Shanchis fancy at table. Much the same scenario as The Space Cowboys (p. 121, J-45) but Earnshaw's cunning inventions--the flying hound dog (like a flying squirrel he actually glides) and the telepathic chipmunk-like Minims--keep this small whimsy in orbit.
