THE DEMON WITHIN

Violence, mental and physical, takes a grim shape when Leon Basset escapes from an insane asylum, and a badly battered body is found- declared to be that of his brother Alvin. Threatening and pornographic letters follow; an old body is exhumed and murder exposed; a local editor publicizes the case but has his private fetish- he keeps his women locked up; and the victim, while wrongly identified, leads to the killer and reveals a paranoiac pattern. Dig all those crazy people.
